About Us

Omega Delta Chi

Founded as the first and only scholastic honor society dedicated to the field of Organization Development & Change

Our Focus

We focus on the scholarly growth and development of the field of organization development and change (ODC).

What We Do

We recognize scholarship and scholastic achievement at the student and  professional levels.

About Omega Delta Chi

Our Mission

The mission of Omega Delta Chi is to recognize and honor leaders in the field of OD&C, to promote their accomplishments, and to foster both, their growth in the professional community and the growth of the professional community.

About Omega Delta Chi

Our History

Scholars and Scholar-Practitioners in OD&C programs recognized a gap in recognition of students in the OD&C field, especially considering that the vast majority of OD&C programs, particularly in the United States, are graduate and doctoral programs and receive less attention in this manner. Although there are numerous fields with honor societies and honor fraternities of their own, and there are a variety of honor societies that are broad and interdisciplinary, they do not specifically honor innovation, achievement, and contribution to the field of OD&C.

Thus, faculty, visiting scholars, researchers, and scholar practitioners from the OD&C field decided to establish an organization that would honor scholarship, character, and innovation in the organization sciences, particularly, but not limited to OD&C. Hence, Omega Delta Chi, the international scholastic honor society in the field of organization development and change was formed.
